William Shakespeare's Plays - resource spreadsheet

In preparation for studying William Shakespeare's works I compiled a list of his plays with genre and date. The list can be sorted chronologically (CHRON) based on scholarly research into when they were written and by popularity (POP).  The following links are included:

  • PLAY: The name of the play is linked to a production available though Kanopy
  • GENRE: The genre is linked to the play's wikipedia article
  • MEDIA: In 1993 MIT put The Complete Works of William Shakespeare on the internet. The 'MIT' in the MEDIA column is a link to the play's script in that collection.
  • MEDIA: 'Folger' is a link to play's webpage in the Folger Shakespeare Library.
  • MEDIA: 'YouTube' is a link to a production of the play on YouTube
  • MEDIA: 'LibriVox' is a link to a public domain audio recording of the play
